A documentary project driven by a deliberate communications strategy: to make the impact of unnatural water flows on the heritage-listed Goulburn River tangible and human. Rather than leading with data, the decision was made to lead with lived experience — centring the film on the perspective of Dennis, a local custodian of the river and its wildlife. The approach reflects a broader philosophy of finding the right voice for the right audience, and using storytelling as a tool for meaningful environmental advocacy.
